This privacy policy describes how Cybersecurity AD handles personal data. Cybersecurity AD attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What Data We Process
Cybersecurity AD only processes personal data that is necessary for service delivery:
- Contact details (name, email address, phone number) when entering into an agreement
- Correspondence and communication data
- Website visit data (see Cookie Policy)
Case File Data
Cybersecurity AD provides technical infrastructure for processing digital criminal case files. CyberSecurity AD has no access to the contents of submitted case file data. All data is processed on a case-specific basis through end-to-end encrypted connections, without cloud storage and without connection to the public internet. Upon completion, data is fully removable.
Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data is processed on the basis of:
- Performance of a contract
- Legitimate interest (business operations, security)
- Legal obligation (where applicable)
Retention Periods
Personal data is not retained longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Contact details are retained for the duration of the business relationship and subsequently in accordance with statutory retention periods.
Sharing with Third Parties
Cybersecurity AD does not share personal data with third parties unless this is necessary for service delivery or legally required. No transfer takes place to countries outside the EEA.
Security
Cybersecurity AD takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. The security architecture is designed in accordance with NIS2 principles. See Security & Compliance for more information.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your personal data
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure of your data
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing

Complaints
If you believe that your personal data is not being processed correctly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

This privacy policy may be amended. The most recent version is always available on this page.
